MÀKIA was engaged by our Client in early 2018 to assist them and their Team in developing a cohesive project vision and master plan for an exceptional nature-based hospitality concept stretching nearly 1km along the Adriatic coast in Vasto, Italy.  MÀKIA kicked-off our design process leading the Team through an intensive 4-day workshop on site with all project stakeholders in order to gain a thorough understanding of the Spirit of Place, local culture, and work with the Team in developing a project program that will be exceptionally connected to the local landscape, ensuring a guest experience that is peaceful, restorative, and re-energizing.  Construction on the first phase of the project is currently underway and will be open for Summer 2020.
