MÀKIA is providing master planning and conceptual design services for the future winery on the Villa Saletta Estate near Pisa, Italy.  The design focuses on making dramatic connections between the agricultural landscape and vineyards with the more formal, polished gardens and courtyards surrounding the future winery.  The landscape architecture program provides numerous opportunities for enriching the visitor experience or accommodating private events, while ensuring the state-of-the-art winery production and back-of-house services are integrated within the landscape without disrupting their functionality.
