The Montanelli development is an intimate, mixed-use development situated in the agricultural countryside near Pisa.  MÀKIA has developed the concept and detailed design for a small, but lively piazza surrounded by a farm-to-table restaurant, local artisan and produce shops, as well as staff apartments for the future Villa Saletta Resort.  The planting concept utilizes native mediterranean species which will thrive and make a connection between the project and surrounding countryside beyond.
