Located in the famous Costa Smeralda on the North coast of the Italian island of Sardinia, we developed an intimate private escape that focused on creating beautiful “internal” vistas since the property had no direct sea views from the ground level. In contrast with the rugged native landscapes of Sardinia, we created a lush “oasis” utilizing a particularly extensive list of exotic plants that ensure our client year-round seasonal interest. Working with an extremely talented builder and their team of local craftsmen, we developed custom details for the landscape structures and paving that are deeply rooted in local Sardinian tradition and ensured an overall refined vernacular quality.
