With 80 meters of elevation change between the house and coastline below, Giardino Clifton is an exceptionally beautiful property. Perched above the Southwest coast of Monte Argentario in Southern Tuscany, we worked with our Clients in developing a series of terraced gardens – each with a particular function, but all tied together by the dominating elements of SKY, ROCK, and SEA. The overall design philosophy is rooted in the existing spirit of this place -taking cue from the surrounding natural formations and textures of the cliffs, and existing (tough) endemic plants species
